We offer five packages which cover most wedding photography requirements, but of course your wedding day is special to you and so you are more than welcome to design your own package with us if you wish. It's your wedding day so we'll ensure that our photography provides exactly what you need.
In all cases you won't have to worry about how many photographs need to be taken, you just advise Alec of any special photographs that you would like and leave the rest to him. He always ensures that you have more than enough images to cover your day and as an experienced wedding photographer always has an eye for the informal and candid shots that capture the moment in addition to any pre-planned or traditional photographs. Every wedding is different so there's no fixed number of photographs taken, to some extent it depends on how many people are there. Alec has photographed weddings with as few as 4, the Bride & Groom and two witnesses and also weddings with over 1500. For most weddings however, it's unusual to produce less than 150 finished shots with the basic package, and the higher packages can easily run into several hundred. This doesn't mean that the photography takes forever, quite the reverse. We're concious that your guests don't wish to be standing around for ages waiting for the photographer to do his job so we fit the photography around your wedding day making it as relaxed and unobtrusive as possible whilst still allowing your guests the opportunity to take their own photographs. We are respectful to your guests, we want them to enjoy your wedding just as much as you and so we quite often adapt the order in which we carry out the photography to allow for changeable weather or guests with special requirements.
No matter how large or small, formal or informal your wedding you can be assured of our constant professionalism and attention to detail not only on the day, but also in the preparation of your images afterwards. Yours will be the only wedding we photograph on your wedding day so even if the weather is unhelpful or timescales don't go quite to plan we can, at a moment's notice, adapt our schedule to fit smoothly around the situation. Every Bride wants things to go without a hitch so that she can enjoy her day without worrying about the detail. That's why it's so important to employ a truly professional and experienced photographer. It's not just about producing superb images it's also about how the photographer handles the wedding.
After the wedding we'll set up your own private webpage on our site allowing you and your guests to view a slide show of your wedding photographs, and also to see how your wedding or story book may look. There's no extra charge for this and your webpage will be available to view for a period of at least 12 months.
Every book is individually designed for each Bride, we don't use standard templates. We'll lay out your book as to how we think you will get the best out of your photographs and then it's up to you to make whatever changes you wish. You're involved in the design process and, as long as they are of suitable size and quality, we're not adverse to you including some of your own images too, say of your honeymoon.

We'll there's lots to choose from, even down to the type of materials used for your book pages, so we hope you will find the table below helpful, at least it gives you an indication of what's available and how much it costs, but the best way is to make an appointment to see Alec, and he can discuss with you your individual requirements. There's no obligation to book if you do so.
At the outset you don't have to decide which package is for you, that can be decided later, it's really just a question of whether or not you would like Alec to take your wedding photographs and reserve the day for you. To book you simply check the date for availability and pay a £200 deposit.
